It was brand-new, beautifully maintained and with a bath.

The location was marvellous, to the great pub nearby!

stunning location - close enough to a good local pub which did good meals as well as a great tourist area-close to lydford gorge. also, by a lovely garden. delicious continental breakfast with outstanding meals.

This cozy spot has fine gardens, excellent hiking trails nearby, and a lovely lounge with a fireplace. I was welcomed warmly and felt at home immediately.

The large lounge area provided a warm and cute atmosphere, and the four-poster bed in our room was comfortable, with crisp white sheets enhancing the experience. Breakfast included freshly cooked options and local honeycomb that was a delight. The surroundings were meticulously clean, and the owners were attentive without being intrusive.

Our family loved our stay, especially the cozy superior double room and the delicious breakfast each morning. The garden was a wonderful place to unwind, and we enjoyed watching TV in the lounge area. It's a bummer the restaurant is no longer open, but with two great pubs just a stroll away, we found great meals very close by! 😊

The rooms were well-appointed and the breakfast was a delight-my kids especially loved the friendly atmosphere as we gathered to eat each morning.

In my wife's opinion, a kids' play area would be great.

The lounge area was inviting, with cozy seating around a charming log burner. I found it challenging to access the shower over the bath due to my knee issues. This may not be a concern for everyone, but it's worth noting for those with similar mobility challenges. It would be nice to have more seating options available outdoors for those warm evenings. A lovely stay with minor issues that didn't overshadow the experience.

Would recommend for a city holiday

Comfortable bed, good breakfast, with local farm eggs, made my stay enjoyable, and the free Wi-Fi in rooms made it easy to plan my daily adventures.

The four-poster room was cozy and had fine views. The warm scone with cream tea was def the highlight! Felt so homey with the candlelit lounge. My only gripe? The bathroom was a bit cramped. But, breakfast was great with plenty of choices. Perfect base for exploring the area!

The relaxing garden offered a perfect spot for drinks, and the beautiful period features really added charm to our stay. The decor echoed the tranquility of nature.

During my stay as a solo traveler, I was captivated by the overall beauty and charm of the place. The decorations were stunning, and I especially loved the local wool bedding that made my sleep fantastic. The hosts, Judy and Jonathan, truly made my experience special with their attentive hospitality, and breakfast made with fresh local ingredients was a highlight of each morning. Plus, the nearby pub for evening drinks was a perfect touch after a day of exploration.
